She rushed to the pantry to hide her tears from the children and quickly sent up a prayer.

“Gott, please give me the strength and patience I need to raise these buuwe. Please guide my actions and my words to raise them in a way that pleases you. The older they get, the harder it becomes, Gott. I don’t know if I have the strength…” Sarah trailed off as a tear slipped over her cheek. Being a single mother had never been a part of her life’s plan. She drew in a fortifying breath. “Please, Gott…Amen.”

After losing her parents at a young age and then her husband before their twins celebrated their third birthday, Sarah Dienner had given up on love and happiness.
