About this listen
Goldenfell should have been a land at peace. The Xarlerii invaders had been destroyed and the kingdom’s former enemies, the Skellan Elves, were now integrating into Goldenfell’s society after helping to eliminate their common foe. Thomaline and Brandt had wanted to concentrate on other issues as the land was supposed to be free from danger, but three problems were now developing. Someone called the 'River Lord', was sending messages to Thomaline and that person was from the other side of the Ward that protected the elves and their land. This was someone who clearly knew of the hidden kingdom’s existence, and everyone could but guess at what danger he might pose. It had been learned that the former Councilor Mendeth, a murderer who had betrayed Thomaline, Brandt and Goldenfell and who had escaped before the battle with the Xarlerii, was in hiding and plotting his revenge. There were also the ambitions of the prince of the Skellan Elves. Prince Cathos had not settled into a peaceful existence within the fortress of Goldenspire. He could not accept that Brandt, a mere Man, could be the Consort to the Queen. The prince was now scheming to remove Brandt by any mean necessary as he wanted Thomaline for himself. Three separate problems, but were all three plotting together?
