Manhattan Edit Workshop is proud to present the Artist in Residence Series, a program of talks with renowned film editors, all Resident Artists from Manhattan Edit Workshop's six-week intensive course in the art and technique of editing.

This is the first part of two conversations with Christopher Tellefsen. Chris edited Golden Globe and Academy Award winner Capote. A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints took home two top awards at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival.

Mr. Tellefsen has worked with some of the finest writers and directors on critically lauded films such as Gummo, Smoke, and Larry Clark's Kids. He has also worked on a wide array of box-office hits including Flirting With Disaster, M. Night Shyamalan's The Village, Analyze This, Perfect Strangers, and Yellow Handkerchief.
