There are some interesting ideas shared in the book, but I was frequently lost or distracted by the AI narration.

The content of the book included some interesting facts. The one thing I didn't enjoy was the number of headings that were questions. Sometimes I felt like I was listening to an essay written by a middle school student.

The narration was not great. The AI voice sounded pretty natural, not at all like computer voices of the past. However, the cadence wasn't great - sometimes there were random weird pauses or places where a word should have been emphasized and wasn't. The most distracting and frustrating part was the way that it pronounced words and names that were specific to ancient Egypt. The names were pronounced incorrectly and the voice sometimes pronounced them in different ways.

I listened to the whole thing because I enjoy learning about ancient Egypt, but it wasn't the most engaging book to listen to.

Highlights some of the most interesting stories and history from Ancient Egypt with short quizzes at the end of each chapter.

The AI reader was surprisingly good, although some names had different pronunciations and some were incorrect pronunciations especially for Tutenkhamun. Overall though, better than most AI readers.
