About this listen

She was born to ride. He was born to break hearts. Together, they just might rewrite the rules.
Seventeen-year-old Jane has one dream: to earn a spot on the National Dressage Team. Her days are filled with training, sweat, and the steady rhythm of hooves—but everything changes when charming rodeo rider Cory steps into the ring.
As Jane's riding intensifies, so does her connection to Cory. But when old rivalries and hidden feelings surface, Jane finds herself caught in a love triangle that threatens to derail her focus—and her heart.
With championship dreams on the line and emotions galloping out of control, Jane must decide what matters most: the ride, the romance, or finding her own rhythm.
And We Danced is a heartwarming, slow-burn YA equestrian romance for fans of The Summer I Turned Pretty, Canterwood Crest, and Heartland. Perfect for horse lovers, dream chasers, and teens navigating love for the first time.

the story is good, but the virtual reader is terrible and they get the technical terms incorrect.

virtual reading is terrible

The first chapter - from an equestrian viewpoint - drew me in. The rest was nothing more than teenage angst, and I was very disappointed. A couple of incidents were thrown into the story for no apparent reason, and while horrible were more or less left at “oh well.” The whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth. Not a well written equestrian story anyway.

High Hopes … Dashed
