About this listen
Andrea Little couldn’t hide her dismay. She looked at the woman in disbelief.
“We are partnering with a pastor and his wife in Robinsville, near Grand Rapids, Michigan,” Mrs. Vaser told her. “They or someone they approve of from their congregation will sponsor you, furnishing room and board for as long as needed until you’re settled. You’ll meet eligible men who want to court you, but you aren’t obligated to choose any of them if you don’t want to. You can find a job and live independently if you prefer. However, the reverend and his wife or your host family will make sure you’re in a safe situation, even securing a chaperone if needed.”
Mrs. Vaser frowned. “I expected more enthusiasm. This is quite an excellent opportunity for you.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
What did the woman expect? All Andrea could think about was being kicked from the orphan house, the only home she’d ever known. Now, her wonderful position of teaching the subjects she loved–quilting, sewing, and literature–would be stripped from her. Would she even be able to quilt in Michigan?
She made up her mind right then. She wouldn’t give up her quilting.

Quilting for the win!
Andrea is quite the character! Being sent away from the orphanage she has lived in since a baby, she is moving to Michigan to stay with a pastor and his wife. Here she can find her way as well as search for a suitable husband! The pastor's wife waste's no time showing her each eligible bachelor, but Andrea is not easily swayed. She is more interested in making her own way, and getting a job in Zane's mercantile is her first paying job. Zane is a sweet man, and the two get along well. But is she going to let her heart cross that line?I love this story. Janice Cole Hopkins lets Andrea bloom, find her independence and her true love. She lets Zane show his love by how he pays attention to detail and how the two share their faith. And shows how doing something you love, in this case quilting can not only ground you, but add happiness to those around you. As life is tested, this book shows just how faith and love can shine through. Loved this story!
LB Neibaur is so good at narrating, and she brings this story alive. The different voices she brings in from the townspeople to Andrea and Zane, it's easy to know who is talking and her emotions are perfectly displayed in her voice. I loved her performance!

A Quilt of Love
Listening to Andrea: Christmas Quilt Brides was a delight. The narrator was excellent. Andrea can’t believe she is being sent away from the orphanage. She has been there since she was a baby and now teaching there. They want her to go to Michigan and live with a host family, the pastor and his wife. They want her to leave immediately, who will keep her quilting class going is just one of the questions. The pastor‘s wife wants to find an eligible young man for Andrea. She’s not ready for all this, but there is a spark when she meets Zane from the Mercantile. Her quilting will keep her grounded. Let’s see what happens next. Great story andwonderful characters. I was given a copy of the book by the author for an honest review.

Inspiring
A great audiobook that I enjoyed. Andrea’s life is about to change. She’s been in the orphanage all her life but now she is being told she has to leave. She goes to the town and the couple that is to sponsor her. She doesn’t know anyone but soon she meets several different men. She really needs to fall in love with the right man to marry and have a home of her own. This is a hard decision.
I loved listening to the story about how she picked the right man for herself.
The Christmas Quilt Bride is a historical romance you will want to listen to or to read. It’s also an inspiring and adventurous book. I received this audiobook from the author but was not required to write a positive review. All opinions are my own.
