About this listen
Tick, tock.
As the ticking of Priscilla's biological clock grows louder after cradling her friend's newborn, a mysterious bearded stranger named Anjal reveals that she is destined to be his mate. Despite her skepticism, there's an inexplicable familiarity about him, and he's not just a man but a powerful demigod and shifter descended from Helios.
Anjal grapples with conflicting desires – his inner bull urging an immediate claim on Priscilla while his human side longs to love and protect her forever. Meanwhile, Priscilla, a curvy high school teacher, must navigate the labyrinth of truths and dangers that threaten her life. Anjal becomes a silent observer in Priscilla's life, captivated by her curves and fierce independence.
In this thrilling world of The Children of the Sun God, where love echoes across realms and destiny beckons, Priscilla and Anjal embark on a passionate journey.
Will Anjal overcome his hesitations and claim his mate? Can Priscilla accept the extraordinary destiny that awaits her?

It’s ok
If you like mythology, demigod,, shifter romance this would be for you.
There’s drama, angst , kidnapping a lot going on in this story
I really couldn’t get into the audio. The narrator showed no emotions of the characters.
She was just reading it. I probably would have enjoyed the story better.

Unique Story
This is not my typical genre but decided to try something new. Loved the book, loved the story. Despite being Paranormal Fiction, the normalcy the characters and their lives made the story more real. With more detail, I soon slipped into the story and have found myself wanting to know what happens next.

Unique and Enjoyable Storyline
Anjal is a very enjoyable unique paranormal shifter romance book. The storyline is fresh and unique. The characters are well written with very believable problems and actions. I enjoyed the drama, suspense, romance, and action that was wrapped up in one little package. I really hope that this is just the beginning because I have become very invested in the story and want to know what going to happen next. I highly, highly recommend this book that I hope becomes a series to anyone who loves unique paranormal shifter romance stories. I received this book for free upon my request. I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased review here of my own volition.

Short & fun romance read
This is quite different. I love stuff about Greek Gods or demons/witches & this had a little of all of those. Super short & quick paced, but pretty fun & uniquely done. Definitely a good light read.
