Fascinating Love Story

First, the story is genuinely remarkable. How J. E. London merged historical aspects through dreams was surprising and intrigued me. I even researched the history of the Suso people described in the book and found that the tribe really existed during the 12 and 13 centuries. How remarkable is that? At first, I found the phrase his heart beat in rhythm with mine redundant until I grasped that their paired heartbeats symbolized how they were meant to be together. Their heartbeats were leading them to each other like a beacon. Then, I thought it was pretty clever. The book is like two love stories in one about a 17-year-old's coming-of-age tale for young adults. Although I am fully grown, I truly loved the story and how J. E. London merged the dream world and reality into a brilliant ending using the pendant and the wolf as intricate parts that intertwined the two stories. Young adults and many adults who love fantasy will love this book.
