About this listen

Puerto Rico, 2017.

So many Puerto Rican actors that could have read this. And Mayra is being read in Mexican accent. Don’t get me wrong the job is accurate is it is just not representative of the author and who they are. It’s just weird

Excellent writing, wonderful descriptions, a journey to our history, a journey to our soul. Well done!!! However, I was Sad when I heard that it was produced in Mexico, mostly when she portraits herself as the cheerleader of our culture and literature!! But that’s how we are!!! So insulting but understandable!!!

no me gustó
