overcoming fears

Those who are trying to recover from anxious attachment or who are in relationships with someone who is experiencing it may find this book very beneficial. The author's advice to educate yourself and become more conscious of your own attachment style was really welcomed, and I particularly found the chapter on healing your inner child to be informative.

The book also provides a variety of tools, from technology resources like apps and online platforms to useful strategies like journaling, all of which I think would be helpful for anybody trying to build safer relationship.

Great listen

This audiobook is very helpful. I found listening to it was almost like a great therapy session because it really helped me understand the basis for some of my current behaviors and where they originated from. It really helped me look at my fear of abandonment and gave me some great things to do to deal with it and move past it.

Building Self-Esteem

I have struggled with trauma and co-dependent behaviors for some time and I really want to shift my mindset and actions. I’ve been searching for a way to stop letting my past effect my present. This book has been very helpful. The exercises for healing the inner child really stood out—they helped me pinpoint the root of my fears and gave me the tools to address them head-on. Now I just have to create these habits. This book is practical and has relatable advice. I feel it is simple to put into practice and with that it brings me some hope.
