About this listen

The first night in my new apartment, I wanted to kill him. The laughter in the halls, the banging against the walls, the sound of that girl screaming in ecstasy. It was so loud that I had to call our building manager about him twice.

My new neighbor was a rude, arrogant asshole.

I can't blame the girl though. His dazzling blue eyes, that body, those tattoos. I had never met a guy quite like him.

But then he keyed my car, and I needed to get the police involved. That was the beginning of our heated feud.

Little did I know, things were about to get a lot more heated. The cocky bastard was holding onto a lot of big secrets, one of them being that he was an ex-Navy SEAL. And when the Navy SEAL came to the rescue, I ended up rescuing him from himself in the process.

It was ok

The concept was good but I felt like the story could have been written way better. It felt very rushed. The story line skipped ahead often, leaving me wanting to know what the characters had actually thought or did in the space of time. And wondering how they came to such a situation. It should have been longer and a bit more detailed in opinion.

Just okay

The story was okay , but the narration ruined a lot of it for me . They should have had a male narration also.

Tells the whole story!

I'm always hesitant to buy audiobooks under 8 hours because there is usually something lacking due to the time constraints, this audiobook was a pleasant surprise, it didn't feel rushed at all! It was short, sweet and spicy. I'll listen to more from this author.

The narrator did a decent job but sometimes I couldn't tell which character was talking.

Horrible Narration

This was written from a dual point of view but the narrator didn't change her voice and it was confusing at times as to which character was "talking". Also pretty repetitive text and predictable storyline. I was going to stop without finishing several times. Sloan's character comes across as very whiney and it got very annoying after a bit.
