Mon-PC

Mostly read well. Some inflection directed in the text not used as a human reader would.

AI voice was same for all characters

AI voice was same for every character. The story was interesting, but could have been better.

Hilarious.

I really don’t know if this is a parody of the zombie genre of audiobooks or a slam on society as a whole. But there was more than one time that I laughed at the complete absurdity of it all. The very fact that it is AI narrated makes it even more hilarious.

This Book is for Conservative Cowboys

The performance received 2 stars because it’s voiced by AI. I couldn’t finish the book, but if I did I would have made it a drinking game! *Take a shot every time the main character says something off-putting.*
This is a story about the whole world crumbling, and the only person who can save them is a man who still wears cowboy hats, and refers to the ‘Ukrainian’ supporting character as ‘Mexican.’ I listened for a while to see if there was any foreshadowing of a character arc for the cowboy, but the writing was so bad I gave up. I recommend this book for anybody wanting a good laugh, or for anybody who will be voting for Trump in the ‘24 election. Would love to hear someone’s opinion who managed to finish the book!
