About this listen

I’m sick of being used.

A creepy boss and men who steal my work send me running to IEP and away from science. I want a new life, and I’m going to another planet to find one.

One rule: no more science.

But when I end up on Macros, nothing has changed, and I’m forced right back into the lab.

I don’t want to be a biologist. And I refuse to fall for my boss. But Rahl is nothing like the guys back on Earth.

Maybe, life on Macros is what I’ve been searching for, after all.

Am I ready to become an alien’s mate?

Lots of romance.

Easy to follow, although you might want to read all the books in order to know whats going on. All the books in this series are good.

Ending seems rushed

i was buying what the author was selling until the end. It didnt seem natural for the characters and felt forced.

King Rahl and Gayle, Scientist from Earth

Gayle, a scientist, worked in a lab on earth with all men and was fed up with her sexist boss and sexist men in her field of work. She agrees to go to another planet to work as anything but a scientist. She ends up getting a position as a scientist working for Rahl. She did not want to fall for her gorgeous boss, but she did. There is some suspense as well as romance. This was a pretty good story but I did not like it as much as some of Roxie Ray‘s other books (e.g., I loved the Warriors of Valkred series). Raquel Beattie did a very good job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
