About this listen

 Patrick and Gareth fall for each other against the backdrop of the miners strike back in 1984. It is almost an impossible time for a striking Derbyshire miner to let his feelings wrap around those of a serving police officer but neither of them can help it, and they somehow manage to find themselves the time and the space to be together and share the joy that's exploded into the hearts of them both.
