About this listen

The great majority of dog owners wish to have a dog such as the dogs they see that have been professionally trained.
Dogs that are well-behaved, that enjoy an enviable bond and connection with their handlers.

Dogs their owners can take along for company or protection on a visit – or to enjoy their hobbies confidently, without worries.

Dogs that for all the training they have received still retain their desirable traits – such as playfulness, high energy and high spirits.

But for the great majority of dog owners the professional training that’s required to achieve this desirable outcome or end game remains a pipe dream for the entire lifetime of their dogs, because it’s expensive in terms of time and money, or because they can’t even find the right dog trainers.

This is a sad state of affairs both for the dog owners and their dogs because for many dog owners it means they never even get close to having a dog of which they can confidently say, “My dog is a good friend – and I’m his/her best friend!”
My mission in writing this book was to do something about this sad state of affairs – by putting together the best information I believe can go a long way towards solving this problem.

I have given you a dog training “hack” you can use by yourself that can help you deal with most wild behavior in dogs, especially – a hack you can adapt to most problems you’re likely to run into with your dog as he/she matures from puppyhood all through adolescence and adulthood.

The hack comes with a built-in motivation engine, because, with each training objective achieved, training to achieve a second objective becomes increasingly easier and easier!

I have also given you some little-known insights on dog habits and why dogs do certain things, all to help you get to really know your dog, and to better connect with your dog and deepen the relationship you have with him/her.

Getting better at bonding with your dog will help you boost your emotional intelligence for bonding with people, especially with kids and spouses. This is extra motivation for parents, but it’s just as good for teenagers and others because it will equip you with some valuable skills you will need in later life – so it should be motivation for teens and young adults as well.
A deep relationship with your dog gives you lots of leverage and it will make it much easier for you to train your dog yourself. It takes time, but with a little investment in terms of one-on-one time with your dog, reading your dog so you’re better equipped to manage him/her visually, setting your goal to be “redundant” and so on, you can get your dog to the desirable outcome we saw earlier, even with DIY dog training!

I have given you pretty much everything you will need:

#1: This guide, “Autopilot Dog Obedience
#2: My free housetraining guides at www.DogTrainingWiki.blogspot.com (including, how to housetrain a puppy, an adult dog, an elderly dog, etc.; also a body language guide, a “101 Dog Behavior Questions & Answers” reference, and how to teach your dog basic commands – sit, stay, settle, down and so on)
#3: The complementary dog training articles linked to from this book and from the housetraining guides.
A dog can become the light of your life when the two of you become a team and develop smooth communication. Your dog will trust you as you become his/her reliable pack leader. And you’ll come to trust your dog to obey you and to yield to your guidance and to your loving care.

Enjoy the journey for its own sake and I can guarantee you that what begins as a distant dream and a demanding challenge will be lots of fun too – and become power to fuel a great life together.
