    Chapter Breakdown

    Generations Church Podcast

Welcome to generations church podcast, where we will talk about Sunday's sermon

    00:12 - 06:24

Pastor Danny: Getting ready to preach was one of the biggest struggles for me. Now that I'm preaching in English, it's starting to take a more natural tone. We're gonna look at some of the things that we've been looking at in church. This is important for people who just want a little bit more information.

What does it look like for a, for a believer in Jesus

We are trained to be different in church than outside of church, right

    06:24 - 14:10

What does it look like for a believer in Jesus who doesn't have a sound mind? We are trained to be different in church than outside of church. It's not about living a Christian life in a controlled environment, it's living it in real life.

    Submitting to Evil Thoughts:

We talked about submitting first to God and then to church teachings

    14:10 - 19:48

We submit to God and we submit to the teachings, right? And sometimes we forget about how important church attendance really is. It is in creating a schedule, it is in saying, okay, I gotta go to church. What do I do if I'm struggling with evil thoughts?

    How to Identify Evil Thoughts

I think that categorizing our thoughts is important

    19:48 - 25:35

As Christians, we try to create too much gray areas. But thoughts are either good or they're evil. Good thoughts are thoughts based on the Bible. When we have evil thoughts, we recognize them, we bring them under the lordship of Jesus.

Submission to God for a Sound Mind

Submission to God for a sound mind is a decision, right

    25:35 - 29:10

Kodi: Let's flood our minds with the goodness of God with his word. Fill our heads with the reality and the truth of the word and what God has done. He says submission to God for a sound mind is a decision. Kodi: That comes down to things like joining the connect groups.

How to Teach My Kids to Have a Sound Mind

What can I do to teach my kids to have a sound mind

    29:10 - 35:07

What can I do to teach my kids to have a sound mind? And the last question here is, I feel like I'm struggling with fear. What can we do to change?

    Downtime: A Podcast for Generations

Our first podcast is now in the top two or three podcasts ever made
