  • A few quick announcements for the podcast…

Coming up in October we have:

    more interviews with great authors,

an episode dedicated to Halloween Poetry,

a Halloween edition of ‘Put Up Your Spooks’ featuring TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE vs. THE ADVENTURES OF PETE AND PETE,

and of course, our annual 2-part Spooktacular, starting with our classic format of random Halloweeny topics, candy and goofs, followed by our scary story episode. This is my favorite episode to make - all original tales and sinister sounds.

Next month, we’ll recap it all with our ‘Halloween Wrap Up’.

WE BLEED ORANGE & BLACK: 31 Fun-sized Tales for Halloween

    Free! 9/27-10/1

I’m terrible at plugging my own stuff, so I almost forgot to mention that my collection, We Bleed Orange and Black, is free on Kindle until October 1st!

With 31 fun-sized tales, now is the perfect time to pick it up and enjoy the countdown to the best night of the year.

You can find it at this link: bit.ly/WeBleed

It’s also available in print and audio.

COLD SPELL: The Halloween Curse of Winterhill

    Free! 10/1-10/5

That sale rolls into my Middle Grade book, COLD SPELL: The Halloween Curse of Winterhill. It’s free on Kindle from October first through the fifth.

When a freak blizzard cancels trick-or-treating (based on a true event), a Halloween-obsessed nerd and his friends break the rules and go out, only to discover that a terrible curse has befallen their town.

‘Cold Spell’ is a fun, fast-paced story of friendship and supernatural adventure that will appeal to fans of 'Hocus Pocus', ‘Goosebumps’, and anyone who believes that there is magic just beyond the red and orange veiled woods.

You can find it at this link: bit.ly/halloweencurse

This book is available in print and audio as well.

We recently posted our 100th episode, and as a special thanks I’d like to share a new, original story with you. Contact us on any of our socials with a pumpkin emoji, and I’ll send it over.

    That’s it.

Ryan and I wish you all a safe and happy Halloween season.

    Until next time, Stay spooktacular!
