Today was another great day. I brought up Derek for #26, and then Susan came up to talk about her experience from yesterday and unwrap #51. Then Melissa came up to share in #51, and Jay Kay added #14.
#14 "Hidden in Plain Sight"
Look and there is nothing to see.
Listen and there is nothing to hear.
Reach and there is nothing to grasp.
These three nothings, come together,
They combine and are one.
This is a mystery and cannot be named.
It is present within all manifestation
And is forever retuning to nothing.
So subtle it cannot be identified,
So conspicuous it is never hidden.
Consider a time before history
To show you how to yield.
You cannot know (if you're doing) it
You cannot prove (that you're doing) it,
But still you can be (doing) it.
You are using it now, but for what?
#26 "Wasted Movement"
Without knowing darkness
Light is mysterious and distracting.
Without knowing stillness
All movement is wasted.
This is why the Master travels
And never leaves home.
No matter how amazing the manifestation
She knows there is nothing that she is not.
Why should anyone seek to be influenced or entertained?
If you let yourself be entertained
You lose touch with your root.
If you let yourself be influenced
You lose touch with who you are.
#51 "The Cycle"
Life is a gift received from Tao,
It sustains all things as part of that gift.
Everything emerges perfect, unconscious, and free
Harmonizing with all things,
Completely maturing in its own time.
All things exist, and are nurtured through Tao,
It fosters and provides for them completely.
Tao does not possess or interfere
Each expressing and maturing in their own nature.
When their experience is complete
Tao receives them again.
