 This book series is an abridged version of the standalone novel “Sometimes Love Needs a Helping Hand,” published in 2020. I hope this new format will allow you to enjoy Sam and Bobby’s story, their love, trials, misunderstandings, and finding their happily ever after.

Sam and Bobby came from very different backgrounds while growing up in the same small North Carolina town. Bobby was the 'All-American' jock, popular and good-looking. Bobby's future was set: a basketball scholarship and then on to play for the NBA. Bobby's life seemed complete, but one vital part was missing.

On the other hand, Sam blended into the background, noticed by no one. Raised by an ultra-conservative and domineering mother, Sam's plans for his future were changed by his father's death. His mother destroyed his dreams, so Sam retreated into a deep, dark closet. His only hope for the future was to get into the college of his dreams.

A weekend visit, a surprise scholarship audition, and admissions of love changed Sam and Bobby's lives. This is how their lives as a couple begin in Chapel Hill.
