His crew includes Allie, a xenobiologist determined to document the alien ecosystem; Tamika, a medical officer tasked with keeping the team alive against all odds; and Rorax, a Caraxian aspiring jump pilot, who faces the dual challenges of the planet’s extreme cold and his own deep longing for the skies.

Together, they delve into the mysteries of Frost's Edge. From its ghostly bioluminescent flora to the warmth of hidden geothermal caverns, the planet holds secrets that are both beautiful and dangerous. When the cadets discover ancient alien technology that could amplify their distress signal across galaxies, hope flickers anew.
