The Cincinnati Reds fell to the Miami Marlins 6-3 tonight in Miami, struggling to find momentum against a dominant outing from Max Meyer. The Marlins' right-hander was electric, tossing six shutout innings and racking up 14 strikeouts to stifle the Reds' offense. Things unraveled further for Cincinnati in the later innings when reliever Alexis Díaz surrendered a crucial home run, stretching Miami's lead to 6-0. Gavin Lux provided a late spark with a two-run homer, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the deficit. The Reds will look to bounce back on Tuesday.
