Ana is a Brazilian lawyer and accountant who, after eight years working in a Big 4 firm in São Paulo, made the decision to leave it all behind for a new beginning in Australia. She decided to move abroad after facing one of the biggest challenges in her career back home: speak English.
As an expert in tax law, she was sometimes frustrated to ask her colleagues to help her translate the meetings and reports, she knew the best way to do it herself was to move abroad.
Now, not only is she bilingual, but she’s also managed to work at the same company she once represented in Brazil—this time, not just being able to understand the language but working, living and loving fully in English.
