The virtual voice made this book impossible for me to follow and I really like the author. I continually kept wondering who was talking & had to hit the back button. The story was good. The previous Christmas book I listened to of hers & my first AI read book, I at least thought was fair yet no emotion but this one on narration was way less than fair.

Admittedly, the virtual voice did pretty well during the ordinary parts, like describing a scene. However, the dialogue parts are monotone and the sex parts lacked any heat. Even with a living narrator, I don’t think there’d be much improvement. There’s not much story other than two people meet, get busy, and declare their HEA.
