About this listen

The COVID lockdown has ended, and Bangkok is open again. Just as life returns to normal, a Brooklyn Mafia boss sends a crew to Bangkok to force local bars and restaurants to buy their hijacked liquor. When they threaten Wang, the owner of the NJA Club, US expat lawyer Glenn Murray Cohen and his eclectic friends from the mysterious NJA Club are again called upon to fend off a dangerous enemy with the help of an honorable Thai police officer. Matters are complicated by the appearance of an attractive but obnoxious FBI agent. Another exotic noir thriller by a master of the genre.

Thoroughly enjoyable.

Introducing members of the Brooklyn Mafia crime family into the lives of the nja was a brilliant idea carried out and driven by the the action-packed plot and all the twists and turns within it. I also enjoyed the evolution of one particular mafioso. Can't wait for the next installment.
