Every American should read this book, no matter if their philosophy tends left or right or even the middle.

it is also for everyone, regardless of their financial literacy. it is written in everyday American English.

This book is never boring and the reader becomes absorbed from page 1.

Readers learn how the American economy works, how it was created and how it has been evolving (or devolving, depending on your point of view).

FINALLY, it opens people's eyes to how they can protect themselves and even thrive in good or in bad times.

Enjoy and prosper!

Every American should read this book

Jerry does an excellent job in removing the fog and cutting through the gross deceptions of the financial markets such that I was pleasantly surprised by the clarity that I got from this book.

His explanation of what money is and the dire financial predicament the US in is just brilliant.

I thoroughly recommend it.

Would you listen to Bankruptcy of Our Nation again? Why?

Yes, compelling reading on what is likely to happen in next 10 years and what you may do to help yourself.

Any additional comments?

I thought I was not going to like this book since the author started off by saying the earth was 6000 years old. But I was impressed by the simple language with which the author tackled all the issues facing USA from national debt, petrodollar crisis, unfunded Medicare / SS debt, quantitative easing and other mistakes by the Feds. I particularly liked chapter 13 which deals with strategies to help over a period of coming hyperinflation.

Must read for all living in USA

Beau résumé macroéconomique des États-Unis, dans un language clair et facile à suivre. Bons placements publicitaires.

Inspirant

An easy to understand review of the US economy and government management practices and the potential (likely? Certain?) issues with the current approach. Ties together the concepts of gold standard, fiat currencies, petrol dollar and many more. Explains how this may lead to a collapse of the US dollar, potentially in the near future. Gives recommendations of how individuals can prepare and protect themselves from these risks.

If true, very scary

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Someone who doesnt understand economics may like this book.

Would you ever listen to anything by Jerry Robinson again?

no

What didn’t you like about Kevin Pierce’s performance?

How very repetative and focuses on the negative not the possitive. There will be winner and there will be loosers with hyperinflation. He forgets that God is in control and you can not stop the events that are about to happen. I prefer to look at it as how can I profit from this.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

The writer preaches fear and he repeates the same idea over and over and over again. He said if you want more information go to his web site. He then repeated this at least 100 times throughout the book. I think I got it by the third time.

Any additional comments?

Some of his thinking is fundamentally flawed. For example he says the currency is going to fail, yet he says to put some of you emergancy fund in US currency. His views on the books of Daniel and Revelation are fundamentally flawed. Isreal can mean the nation, the particular race of people or the religious group. When the bible refers to Isreal in future events it is refering to the remnant children of god not the secular nation of isreal.

I was very disappointed with the author.
