Tragic tale of impetuous love.

Barbara chooses a handsome man over someone of her own class. Unfortunately, a tragedy happens which causes her to rethink her choice.
Hardy rarely tells a story with a happy ending, so don't look for one here.
B J Harrison is adequate as the narrator, but nothing special, and sometimes his pauses are just off...
I love Hardy, and this story is beautifully written.
