I liked the way it gripped me all the way. Best book for a long time

I was spellbound by the story.

I haven't listened to a book so intently for a while- i was thoroughly gripped and genuinely uneasy in places.
But the main character is really irritating- he just accepts such wild things happening to him.
I saw it may become a movie.....I think it would be a terrible film. So many clichés and tired old tropes.
This is a good holiday read but it's so annoying - narration is superb- one of the best I've heard-, though you can really hear the added edits.
But if her general style is breaking trust with the reader, I won't be listening to another.

Gripping but infuriating
