Any additional comments?

This book talk about some of the common pitfalls associated with stepping foot on Parris Island. It's a first hand experience and accurate portrayal of what female recruits will go through in order to call themselves Marines. After listening to this book, I am more confident about my niece's decision to join the Marines. I didn't know anything about the USMC prior to listening to this audiobook, and the information here has expanded my understanding of what exactly it is that happens during boot camp training for the Marine Corps, particularly for women. Nicely written and well narrated.
