Such a great book for teens!
This audiobook is so useful and relevant for teens. It is relatable and sections are not too long, but make the important points, which is so important for teens to be engaged while teaching how to recognize toxic behavior.
I also really like that it gives examples/ analogies, reflection questions and also, that it consistently tries to put things into perspective when someone says something negative about them or to them (it’s not about you, it’s about them). I love the empowering language also, which is also consistent throughout.

Healing is so important
What an amazingly supportive resource! the structure of the book is easy to follow and takes you on a journey to rebuild self-esteem and self-love. We all have toxic relationships from our early years and this book helps you with exercises, strategies, and journaling. Overall the book has compassion and support for dealing with and healing from the people in our lives who hurt us. I wish I had this back when I was a teen.

Great for teens
This is a great quick listen for an audiobook. Perfect for a teen who doesn’t have the patience for anything longer. This book was filled with affirmations to help teens get through toxic relationships and heal from them. There were several sections with journal prompts that ask questions that would really make a teen reflect on themselves and grow as a person. Would be a great gift for a teenager you know who is just coming out of a unhealthy relationship.
