The sheriff of Tumbleweed took an instant dislike to Duke Benedict and Hank Brazos, so he gave them one-way tickets to Flintlock. Once the stagecoach left town, it became a target.
Among the other passengers was a federal marshal delivering his prisoner, Jack Savage, to Flintlock for trial. Savage’s gang had other ideas — like stopping the stage and rescuing him.
