About this listen

Warning: Irredeemably twisted and deliciously dirty. Not suitable for all readers. No cheating. Cute and steamy happy-ever-after guaranteed.

Uh-oh. Mr. Mine caught me secretly taking his photo.

His name is Rashad, and he's one of the mysterious royal sheikhs of Huzna. But I didn't know it back then, and so I called him Mr. Mine.

I first saw him in a cafe. A gorgeous stranger quietly enjoying his book with his coffee, and I instantly fell in love with him.

He tells me from the start I'm too young, and he's not a good man, but then he loses his cool when he sees me with someone else.

Just when Mr. Mine makes me believe he loves me back, the painful truth comes out, and he ends up breaking my heart instead.

Language, Language, Language

I don't like profanity. I've never heard anyone say after reading a book or watching a movie, "It was good - but if only it had had more profanity in it.". Right off, I can only think of two instances where profanity added to the movie - Gone With the Wind and the Princess Bride. However, I know that is expected now days in books and movies. The F-bomb was used 17 times in one conversation the hero was having with himself. Several times, because of the Virtual Voice, I wasn't sure whether the heroine was thinking to herself or actually talking with him. The name , Mr. Mine, was used excessively referring to the hero. With Virtual Voice, hearing "Mr. Mine" repeatedly was like hearing the proverbial fingernails on a chalkboard. I don't have anything against Virtual Voice because it sounds much better than some narrators I have listened to, although I don't think a good human narrator can be beat.

Narration

Electronic narration was the worst I have heard. It usually does not detract from the overall book but on this one it did.
