Might have a pretty nice b-movie.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I'm not sure. Most of them are not into 30's type stuff, especially detective stories.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Really not. At the same time was really interested in Black's motive.

Any additional comments?

Like I said, it might have a made pretty nice B- movie. Bogie as Black, maybe Betty Davis as the cab driver, and Sidney Greenstreet as the elder McCary. Of course, expanded a little.
