About this listen
These stories are short but exciting, and very informative. Each is packed with deceit, hatred, betrayal, disobedience, and lust, yet each person is a servant of God, and surprisingly, a BLACK servant – a descendant of “Ham” (dark-skinned son of “Noah”); Gen;10:6-20.
The scene is set through a dialog between God and his servant in each story recorded. This style of work allows the reader to vicariously walk in the shoes of each character (sympathizing, and emphasizing) their plight; experiencing their pain, anxiety, despair, and regret – while at the same time, learning that there is a consequence to disobeying our Creator.
Yet, this author manages to weave into their stories, a surprising history that proves many were Black people. There are “11” magnificent stories shared in this book. Each gives a different perspective of who these characters were, ethnically, and racially.
This book highlights that even though we are not perfect human beings, God still uses those who “Believe” that He exists. These stories are filled with anticipation and awe, as the author skillfully walks the reader through event, after event, in the lives of real people like you and me (only now can we visualize them as Scripture identifies and describes them - as Black servants)!
Learning the true identity of these fascinating biblical characters makes reading more interesting, and the stories are highly educational. So buckle up for the most amazing and thrilling experience of learning who Black people are in the Bible!
