About this listen
You have to kiss me!
Those were the words I blurted out to my employee seconds before asking him to be my fake boyfriend.
When my parents told me they were coming to Sugarplum Falls earlier than expected and asked me to attend their friends holiday party I knew it was all a ruse to set me up with their son. So, I needed a plan and fast.
I was surprised when Zach agreed and fell right into the role of loving, doting boyfriend. But what caught me even more off guard was how easy it seemed to be for us to be together even when no one was around for us to fake it.
Regardless of how right it might have felt, there were too many reasons why I couldn't date Zach. I had already convinced my heart, but his was another story.

Story
Lana Fleming’s sister has vanished from the set of TV’s hottest show, and no one seems to care. Desperate for answers, Lana sneaks in as an extra, only to get stranded with Griffin Hart, an A-list action star with a reputation for good abs and bad decisions. Though Griffin didn’t expect to be cast as a librarian’s sidekick in a real-life thriller, he’s weirdly into it—and into her. Even more unsettling—she sees right through his playboy persona. But their meet-cute soon turns deadly when they uncover a Hollywood scandal for the ages.

Liv’s happy with life in her thirties. She has two cats, one BFF, and no boyfriend, which is just how she likes it. Plus, she loves working at a not-for-profit software company where she can be her authentically autistic self. This is her happy ever after. But when her beloved firm merges with a repulsive rival, Liv finds herself competing with her sort-of-ex for the top job. Sure, Finn had been Liv’s best friend, with his nerdy good looks and their shared love of Tolkien, but there was that one night, their song, and … well, she doesn’t like to talk about it.

Beckett: If you’re reading this, well, you know the last-letter drill. You made it. I didn’t. Get off the guilt train, because I know if there was any chance you could have saved me, you would have. I need one thing from you: get out of the army and get to Telluride. My little sister Ella’s raising the twins alone. She’s too independent and won’t accept help easily, but she has lost our grandmother, our parents, and now me. It’s too much for anyone to endure. And here’s the kicker: there’s something else you don’t know that’s tearing her family apart.

Spicy Hallmark
This was such a sweet and lighthearted Christmas story with some spicy scenes. It really felt like I was transported to a Hallmark movie, but maybe a Hallmark movie that would be on a pay-per-view channel lol. The narrator did a great job of bringing these characters and their spicy scenes to life. This is perfect If you want something to make you smile and maybe blush a little bit too..

Excellent Narration and a Fun, Frisky Storyline!
I thoroughly enjoy everything by this narrator. She fully embodies each character and pulls you into the story with her characterizations.
This book is definitely not for young ears, but boy, what a fun ride! It's frisky and gets very erotic at times. The writer does an excellent job setting up each scene and giving you just enough details to get you a little hot under the collar.
I listened to this novel at work and was paranoid that my Bluetooth would disconnect from my headphones. I didn't need the rest of the room enjoying it with me as well! 😂

OMG, I love Andi and Zach!
This is book 3 in the Sugarplum Falls Series and the first time I have heard Mollee Bensin as a narrator.
Narrators make or break any book so I am skeptical when I listen to new narrators because I have my go-to, all around favs but Mollee nailed it with this! She really gives you the feeling that you are her and she visually places you inside the story! Amazing job!
I love reading Christmas books and when they are shorter books, I get to read more!! 😊
Tropes:
💜 Small town
💜 Fake Dating
💜 Forced proximity
💜 Holiday themed
💜 Steamy
Andi and Zack finally get their story!
Andi concentrated on her bakery and didn’t have time to date nor was she really looking to date but Zach wasn’t giving up. When Andi needs a fake boyfriend, Zach was perfect for the role and he was all IN!

A great fake dating holiday romance!
Andi, the owner of Sugarplum Sweets, and Zach, her employee make arrangements to fake date each other to get Andi's parents off her back and for them to stop seeing her up with people.
I love a good fake dating trope! This one did not disappoint. Zach knows exactly what he wants and how to get it. Andi can be stubborn, but once she finally realizes Zach is the one for her, things start making sense to her. Throw in some snowy holiday weather, a power outage, and some yummy lattes with candy canes and you have the perfect recipe for love. Even though this is a novella, you aren't left feeling like you're missing something by the end.
THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU IF: You're looking for a quick and spicy holiday read where you can also explore other holiday books!

Light-hearted Christmas fun!
I was drawn in from the first sentence! This was an easy fun book that will keep you laughing!
Andi owns the town bakery and doesn't have time for love. So when her parents want to set her up she finds a way out of it by talking her employee into fake dating her. Zach on the other had decides to use this as a way to spend time with her. Now he is her date to the party he was supposed to get her out of!
This book has the Baca touch where the book is mostly fluffy goodness but still has serous moments that make you feel for the characters. Don't miss this cute short Christmas book that will make you want to get some candy canes of all variations!

Another yummy and spicy holiday treat!!
Blame It On The Candy Canes is book #3 in the Superplum Falls series of holiday novellas. This small-town, fake dating gem was just what you will need to get your holiday spirit fired up. Andi owns Sugarplum Sweets and is doing well with her business. Her mother is wanting to set her up on a date for an upcoming holiday party and Andi wants no part of it. She asks Zach, her employee, to be her fake boyfriend to avoid going to the party. Zach is more than happy to help her out, but he's all in for this adventure! The author has this special talent to transport you to this magical small-town (think Hallmark sugary sweet), but then spice it up (think Passionflix) for that perfect balance of love and lust. Andi and Zach are a perfect pairing for the holidays! *And I really do wish they would make this series into movies!!
The narration was really good. Mollee Bensin is a new narrator for me and she did a great job with all the voices.

Andi & Zach
A great book to get you into the Christmas holiday spirit! This is book three in the Sugarplum Falls series; however, you don’t have to read the other books first to understand this book. This book was a quick read with fake dating between Andi and Zach. I enjoyed how the author draws you into the characters and throws in a little spice within. I would highly recommend if you like small town romance, he falls first, workplace romance, and fake dating!
