Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Blood, Romance and More
Anushka is a librarian and in a romantic liaison with THE Count Dracula! Anushka finds herself drawn into a wild and sexy crazy relationship with the Count and his rivals! Blood will be shed!
The author, Raven Belasco, creates a distinctive vampire novel that merges traditional beliefs with her unique ideas. Belasco showcases her multilingual talents throughout the narrative, with dialogue that flows seamlessly and integrates well. The characters are well-developed and crucial to the plot. The romance is well-crafted, with numerous steamy scenes that reflect the stereotypical perceptions of the vampire world. The narrative unfolds steadily with significant and impactful plot twists.
The narrator, Amber Benson, delivers an amazing performance. Throughout the audiobook, Amber Benson mirrors the character’s exploration of her thoughts and surroundings authentically. Benson’s deliberate pauses, steady cadence, and emotionally charged performance enable the rambling style of the character, Anushka to become captivating. I found Amber Benson’s voice to be rich and versatile!
This is a captivating audiobook for the well-written storyline and also richly performed!

Blood and The Librarian
I truly enjoyed this book. Great story, creative exposition and a really fun and likable protagonist. Vampires are always awesome, but I especially love how they are introduced in this story and I look forward to seeing where it goes from here. Love, sex, blood, vampires, everything you could want is here along with a main character you will remember and miss once the story is over. The narration is incredible. Amber Benson brings the character to life and sucks you into a beautiful world. I recommend checking this out.

A wonderful, wild ride!
While I will admit that this is a little bloodier than my tastes usually run-- I mean, it's a vampire book so I knew what I was getting myself into, haha-- this book was so much fun and SO worth it.
The main character, Noosh, had such sass and personality that her narration had me laughing out loud more often than I could count. Also, letting yourself be seduced by a sexy vampire in part because of his awesome book collection? #relatable
I see you, Noosh. ;)
And if that wasn't enough, I was swept away by the author's artfully beautiful descriptions and inventive vampire logistics. The world building and vampire science conjured a great balance of awe and moments of thought-provoking contemplation.
If you like spicy vampire open door sex scenes, sassy main characters who make questionable life decisions first and ask questions later, and super punchable bad guys who make you cheer when they get what's coming to them, this book is for you.
Also, bonus points for the Queen and Bowie references. Can't wait to start book 2!
