Enjoyable BUUUT....

Over all I enjoy these books. I like the main characters sense of humor, though she really needs to learn to calm the heck down sometimes.

Buuuut...
1) the fact that her father is so committed to finishing his life there even though people are literally trying to beat the snot out of her, violently violate her, and you know.. LITERALLY KILL HER makes him a pretty awful father. He should have moved her out of there at age 2 when her mother was brutally murdered and she nearly killed.

2) she’s always going on about how jake is such a good guy etc. but he’s definitely not. He might be nice, friendly, charming, and helpful. But he continues a friendly relationship with people who are LITERALLY TRYING TO KILL HER. In what world is that a good guy you should keep dating!? No world. But then her dad doesn’t try his best to keep her safe. Even when she was a toddler. So why would she expect any different? Finn is the only one who actually tries to make sure she doesn’t get violently murdered. Even her supposed friend Fiona is blind to her danger
