DARIUS:
There she lay in all her glory...it was her: Dalia from the Wild.
As she lay upon the manicured turf eating a fresh peach under a heavy tree, my mouth salivated as she sexily consumed her delicacy.
She was unaware I stood there as I cocked my head to admire that lovely unspoiled girl.
Her long golden locks spiraled all around her while her wet lips suctioned on that tempting fruit.
Her eyelashes to her pink freckled cheeks...she was like sunshine in the shadows, as if in a forbidden garden.
I, as sweet as Lucifer, would snake my way into her thoughts with mere words. Words of truths she had yet to know.
Was this truly the Wild Cherry the Workfolk Guardians had fought that night to check her virtue?
Was this Dalia the one who had escaped the Workfolk trade, still untouched?
I grinned devilishly at the hen that would lay the golden eggs that could heal our land and cure my father.
Her tart and seductive responses were fresh and challenging.
But how?
How would I steal her from Dr. Lord Kaine Remmington's fortified residence?
I would find a way. Truly it was Dalia's blood that ruled, for he who had her had immense power over all of Hearth.
Dalia's blood reigned...She would be mine.
KAINE:
Desperate, I traveled from Eden, the highest kingdom on Hearth, searching for Sabrina's offspring who could carry a DNA link and cure.
I was venturing into the Wild, far from our cities to the slum boroughs.
Would Sabrina and her sister, Delila, have given up life in Eden to live in squalor & birth a royal baby in utter poverty? Those in the Wild lived like the mythical Vikings without any crude weaponry. Their struggle to survive was real.
I would send the Workfolk Guardians...
Not...a...dull...moment!

Great story!💜
This story was very good with a unique twist. Plenty of drama, angst and suspense. A fantastic beginning to this series. I can’t wait to start the next story.
The narration, first, all the narrators did a fantastic job voicing their characters. I was especially impressed by Grace Noble, who was outstanding in her terrified voice.
Second, J. Tipstone was amazing when I could hear him. There seemed to be a little sound issue. At times it was very difficult to hear his smooth sexy voice 🔥.
Last but definitely not least, Jack Calihan did a great job as always. I think I already hate his character 😂 but it’s early yet.
Regardless of any issues I had, it has not deterred me from wanting more, a lot more. 🥰
This is book 1 and does have a cliffhanger but continues in book 2.
I recommend this book.

villians
When this started off it reminded me a lot of the movie blood rain, but I quickly discerned that this is definitely different from that. I find myself quickly taking sizes to who I want to see when be at the good guys or the villains but that depends on your temperament and wicked sense of humorous to which way you prefer to go.
I do recommend this audiobook I can also be found on Kindle unlimited as well.

Totally unexpected in a good way
WOW!! I mean.. WOW!!! I wasn't too sure when I first started this as I don't always like this genre and there is a warning about triggering situations in the beginning of the book. However, I couldn't put it down and listened to it at one go. It does contain steamy scenes and ends in a cliffhanger.
It's totally beautifully written and the narrators have done an excellent job. Looking forward to listening the other 2 books in the same series.

Wow
The author did a get job with keeping you engrossed in this storyline and also the narrators made this book come alive, which made you feel for the characters making it difficult to stop listening to the story in order to know what would happen next. I can’t wait to hear book number two and see how this story unfolds.

Interesting and Sexy!!
This audiobook was fire!! The story was very interesting. Our FMC is a virgin with special blood that can save her world. And everybody wants her!! There was never a dull moment and the sexy scenes were so good! And that ending! My eyes went wide because it ended so abruptly on a cliffhanger, but don't fret, there's more to come!!

Excitement and Frustration Throughout
There was plenty of excitement, sacrifice, and betrayal in this story, and I can see how many would find it interesting and entertaining. Unfortunately, it just didn’t resonate with me as much as I’d hoped. I struggled with some of the choices made by the strong female character—they felt a bit unrealistic at times, which pulled me out of the story. While there was no shortage of challenges and twists for her, I found myself more frustrated than engaged as the events unfolded. I know this book has received a lot of praise, and I can understand why others enjoyed it, but it just wasn’t the right fit for me. The repeated "Oh Gods, oh Gods, oh Gods" didn’t help either—it became a bit distracting. Since this is the first book in a trilogy that ends on a cliffhanger, I think I’ll be content not continuing, for now, but I’m glad others found it enjoyable!

If you enjoy breeding tropes and dubious consent this is the series for you.
Blood Reign is not about vampires, but set in a disparate dystopian society where the FMC is stolen from The Wilds and thrust into a futuristic world full of creature comforts and obsession. With multiple POVs you get into the minds of our nascent FMC trying to find her purpose and place, Kaine wanting her and her body for the future of Eden, and the dastardly Darius maneuvering to claim her as his own. The most interesting part of this story is how the character loses her v-card twice! This book is fast moving and well paced. Full of delicious scintillating scenes with both men, keeping you riveted as this story unfolds.
The Audible version amplifies this with multiple voices speaking and narrating adding additional drama to this salacious series.
TW: This story is not for anyone uncomfortable with questionable consent and controlling relationships. It also gets a rating of 5 on the special scale with vivid descriptions that will not disappoint.

Intriguing and Sexy
This was an unexpected story. The title made me think vampires but it ended up being an interesting SciFi/Fantasy twist with world-building that reminded me of Rise of the Illiri. The more that unfolds, the more you feel like you are peeling the layers that the author crafted for her world and a better understanding of the disparity of science between the Wild and Eden. The characters are fascinating and I look forward to seeing where this story takes us as it ends on a cliffhanger!
