About this listen
Larissa is the child of two worlds. She is a witch and a vampire…
Witches fear her…
Vampires want her blood….
and to complicate matters, she is in love with a human, which is forbidden by both.
Larissa is back at the coven, under the same roof with the Vampire who wants her blood, and the witches that sent her to Mordin prison. They just don’t know she is there yet. Those that do know she is there are working to complete Larissa’s training so she can challenge for supreme and put the world back in balance. If only Larissa’s world, and magic, was in balance.
She is now a mother, and she is missing her other half. Brainwashed by vampires and turned against the witches by a deceitful attack that has dissolved into an all-out war, Nathan is now the leader of the New Orleans coven. While others are pushing Larissas to complete her training, she has only one thing on her mind. Putting her family back together.

Wonderful story, horrible narration
I normally don't criticize artists but after listening through this entire series thus far, I can't stay quiet. I thought perhaps after the first book, someone would have helped the performer work on her cadence and reading ability. But alas, this was not the case. I even hoped that a new performer would have taken over the series, but nope! These books are amazing and fairly well written, but to be frank, the narration is so bad, they take away from the story. The odd pauses and mispronounced words are obnoxious. I normally feel awful about saying anything negative, but good Lord it really is horrible. I would ask for my credits back but the writing is not the issue and the author deserves kudos.
