About this listen
A little bite for the holidays...No better time of the year to mend a few fences.
If I'm going to win him back, it'll take a grand gesture.
Something to prove I'm still the old Mercy he used to love...
The gift is priceless. It's one-of-a-kind. He'll love it.
At least I thought he would...
How was I supposed to know the damn thing contained a freaking djinn?!
Time to put the genie back in the bottle. But he won't go easy. Not until he's granted three wishes.
The problem? Each wish comes gift-wrapped with something nasty... something deadly...
Time to vamp-up and show that djinn that he's messing with the wrong bitch.
Bloody Merry is the sixth book in The Fury of a Vampire Witch. You've met Mercy before in The Legacy of a Vampire Witch and The Blood Witch Saga. She's fought against devils and demons, insidious witches, and old-world vampires. When she returns to Exeter, where she grew up as a girl, she'll find enemies even bigger and badder than anything she's ever faced before.
A great series for fans of the True Blood / Sookie Stackhouse novels or the Underworld franchise to sink their fangs into. The Fury of a Vampire Witch features a dark and twisty romance, action that could even get a vampire's heart pumping, and a snarky badass heroine.

Liv’s happy with life in her thirties. She has two cats, one BFF, and no boyfriend, which is just how she likes it. Plus, she loves working at a not-for-profit software company where she can be her authentically autistic self. This is her happy ever after. But when her beloved firm merges with a repulsive rival, Liv finds herself competing with her sort-of-ex for the top job. Story
After watching my mother succumb to a mysterious illness, I promised myself two things. I'd find the cure for what ravaged her and leave the godforsaken city where she abandoned me. Four years later, I received an acceptance letter from Dracadia University, one of the oldest most prestigious schools in the country. Nestled on a secluded island off the coast of Maine, it's rumored to be haunted by the souls of the mental patients exiled there centuries before, those whose bones are said to make up the island's white sandy shores. And restless ghosts aren't even its most daunting peculiarity.

Meet Randi Burnett—she’s brilliant, she’s beautiful, and she works for the bride. Missing groom? Intoxicated in-laws? Crying ring-bearer? You name it, she wrangles it. Too bad her personal life isn’t thriving like her side gig as a bridesmaid for hire. Recently dumped, Randi throws herself into her biggest challenge yet when she’s hired as a maid of honor and pretend best friend for an ice queen bride. There’s just one problem—the best man is infuriating, overprotective, and anti-marriage.

Missed the characters when it was over.
It took me FOREVER to get into this book but that was mostly due to the narrator. It was pure pain listening to her, especially when she changed voices.
But enough about that… onto what I think about the book. 📖 it was a solid 3.5 ⭐️ but I’ve been told my entire life that I should round up to the nearest whole number, so I did.
I enjoyed the premise of the book quite a bit. I found that I missed Mercy when the book was over. I enjoyed the twist the djinn 🧞 played in the role of this book. I’m glad for who who ended up with Mercy.
I received this book in exchange for this honest review.

Hilarious!
This entry in Mercy's story was by far the funniest, most entertaining of the series. So many surprises and twists. Without giving much away I definitely laughed out loud when Mercy gave a shout out to the author and then proceeded to criticize his writing style. Don't listen to her...he has the best writing style and the most entertaining books ever! Can't wait to hear what the next in the series brings to top this romp!

Mercys stories are always amazing. I have loved all of Theophilus Monroes books that I have listened to so far. I have enjoyed Kelly Hazen narrations to these books so far

Hi-jinx ensue
Mr Monroe keeps twisting Mercy up and growing her in different ways. I look forward to seeing what happens in the next book. Is Mercy actually going to keep her happiness, or is another twist ahead?
Miss Hazen delights as always, giving a voice to each character.

Great book
Absolutely loved this book. Thought it was headed towards Mercy and three ghosts Charles Dickens style but ended up Mercy and a Jinn. Mercy gets tricked and has to have help from her friends is all I will say and it has an ending that will shock you. I normally don’t even give that much away on a review but the book had an interesting plot that kept me listening and relistening to parts to make sure I heard right. I have already listened to whole book twice and just love the book. The narrator did great job with characters. The characters are well developed and after this many books you are so taken with them and highly invested in them. I love Mercy with her attitude but she cares so much too. Such a strong character. This book was a great listen and I recommend it. I received it with promo credit and this is my honest review.

Theophilus Monroe is one of my favorite authors
Bloody Merry (The Fury of a Vampire Witch Book 6), my sixtieth read from author Theophilus Monroe. Theophilus Monroe & his cast of crazy characters has become one of my favorite authors. Another well written & enjoyable read, the sixth in his new Fury of a Vampire Witch series featuring Mercy Brown. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. Kelley Hazen’s outstanding narration as always adds to the book’s enjoyment. I look forward to reading the next book in the series, Bloody Hearts (The Fury of a Vampire Witch Book 7) when it's published in February of next year, it's already on my TBR list. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Great Series
Mercy is finally free of Oblivion's control, but no one trusts her. So she sets out to make the best Christmas ever. Of course, nothing goes as planned and it is hilarious how she handles everything. The narrator is phenomenal as always and I look forward to more adventures with Mercy and her crew.

Christmas, Love, & Merry
I found book 6 of "The Fury of a Vampire Witch" entertaining. Merry found the perfect gift to win her love back; however, when her gift contained a djinn, mayhem ensued. I enjoyed the amusing moments. There were some complications, some changes, and some surprising twists. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. Kelley Hazen's narration was gifted, and her performance kept me entertained. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

djinn
As the holiday season is upon us, Mercy find herself with a gift of a lamp that does prove more then it seems. As a djinn has used Mercy for his own plans. Another excellent addition to Mercy's story.
