About this listen

When we last saw Steve Wallace, he was a cool and cocky chick magnet. But what made him that way? In answering that question, Blue-Eyed Son takes you back to the early 1970s to show the origin of the kid who eventually became The Breeze.
With the misguided help of an older woman, Steve transforms from a humiliated boy dealing with the aftermath of a childhood prank into a teen with a don’t give a shit attitude. In between, he learns way more than he should about dealing with the opposite sex, and by the time he reaches high school, girls of all ages love him.
Steve and his buddies re-write the book on partying, skipping school, and chasing girls. The Boys from East Gadsden, Alabama, make their own rules, raise hell from the banks of the Coosa River, and take over every party they attend.
As much fun as Steve has, he is conflicted as to how he wants his life to be. And as he tries to figure things out for himself, the evolution from the Blue-Eyed Son into the kid everybody calls The Breeze begins.

This was a really fun book to read. You really get to know the characters. I can't wait to see what happens to Steve in the next book. You can tell he is starting to really grow up.
