About this listen
Cursed rage beasts?
A sassy vampire in emotional turmoil?
Joining an assault against an apocalyptic army of death?
No problem; piece of cake; no biggie!
Zoey has never needed to use her vampiric mind-reading or telekinetic gifts to be the voice of reason, but there's one person whose problems she's never been able to get a handle on....
Herself.
So when she and her therion lover, Isaac, accept a new mission to take out a demented, inhuman threat with a taste for torture, Zoey's eager to keep things strictly business. Unfortunately, with this new danger threatening to tear their world apart, the vampire-werewolf lovers find themselves in the company of a not-so-friendly pack of Isaac's kin, and a fresh batch of problems arise.
With chaos igniting at every turn and a constantly dwindling hope, Zoey and Isaac find themselves in a struggle for survival that'll put everything they have to the test. Between Zoey's sinking confidence and soaring doubts, it may be impossible to find a middle ground in time to stop the impending carnage.

And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Zoey & Isaac
This is the first book in this series I have l listened to, in fact the authors of this book are both unknown to me. I was a little worried about starting at book four but I need not have worried. We are given enough information to listen to this story as a standalone.
The book starts with Zoey a vampire with incredible skill and power and Isaac her werewolf boyfriend travelling across country for three days to try and track down and overcome a hybrid killer who is killing humans who associate with paranormals. However it's not just one killer! They have been sent by the Council into the territory of a pack of wolves who live in the city which for wolves is not the norm. Their mission is made more complicated because Delilah the alpha of this suburban pack used to be engaged to Isaac and appears to still want him.
I'm not going to tell you the whole plot, I don't give spoilers but what I will tell you is that this story is very good, it's very well written with excellent world building. The characters are all really well drawn, not all likeable but definitely well defined.
The chemistry and link between Zoey and Isaac is incredible, their connection is very strong, they can in fact communicate without words. The story is quite dark but in my opinion is definitely worth listening to. My interest in this series has definitely been awakened, I just need to decide if I'm going to start at the beginning or go on to book 5.
The story is read incredibly well by Nicholas Patrella who I have not listened to before but I will certainly look out for further books read by him he gave so much depth and feeling to every single part of the story.
I was gifted a copy of this book and am voluntarily writing this review.

A Vampire / Werewolf Action..
Any additional comments?
This story centers around Zoey and Issac as they venture on a new mission.
The story flowed with a fast pace and was a bit graphic at times.
Overall, an adventurous plot with a side of humor.
Nicholas Patrella did well with the narration.

Fun Stuff!
I haven't read or listened to any of the previous books in this series but it didn't diminish my enjoyment of this story. If this is any indication, it looks like a fun series. Zoey and Isaac have a relationship built on mutual respect and aren't afraid to get down and dirty with the bad guys. Yes, the fight scenes were graphic and gory but isn't that the best part? I loved the fast pace and action and the plot twists held my interest. The narrator quickly engaged me and gave a solid performance. Blue Moon was a fun listening experience and I would recommend it.

A decent urban fantasy series
I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
Although I hadn't read, or heard of, the previous books in this series, I was able to enjoy this audio book, for the most part. The narrator seriously needs to take a breath. Most of the narration was fine, but during a fight scene, dude got so excited he sounded breathless. It was kind of distracting. Otherwise, I enjoyed the book, though I'm undecided if I'll seek others out in the series.

Murder mystery by supernatural couple done well
Any additional comments?
I haven't read any previous books from these authors but I enjoyed this one enough to check out others. He's a hothead were and she's a cool vamp, together they make a perfect pair. Both are super tough and a bit funny. There were parts that got a little bit bloody but not bad enough to shy away from. A great plot and plenty of action and suspense made this a good read. Different supernatural baddies to find and vanquish blended with the kicka%% main characters make this a great book to recommend .

I couldn't get into it
For some reason I just couldn't get into this story. There was nothing inherently bad about the plot or anything, it's just that the characters didn't quite set with me... the main ones anyway. So quick synopsis is that a vampire and a werewolf head into a town occupied by werewolves that have a history with the latter. They are there to take care of something/someone that's killing things. On the outside, this book sounds like something that I should wholeheartedly enjoy, but that was not the case. I'm not a fan of either of the lead characters. They could have died and I legit wouldn't care. In fact, I might welcome characters a little less self-conscious/anxious. This book took quite a long time to listen to mainly because the characters didn't appeal to me and I had no desire to continue listening sometimes. As for the narration, I believe he did an okay job. Sometimes the words ran together, but all in all I always knew who was talking. There was great variance in tone, depth and accent when necessary. I received this book at my request for free and provided this review voluntarily.

Werewolves, vampires and hybrids oh my.
This was my first time reading/listening to a Parker, Squiers book. I enjoyed this story I wish I could afford the previous books. I would have given it a 5 but I like getting the whole story not having to wait for the next part books.
I hate spoilers, so I won't go into details. I've always passed on buying something that ruins a book. I mean really what's the point if you already know what is going to happen.
The narration was pretty good though the narrator needs to work on his feminine voices.

UNTAMED & SQUISHY - FUN RIDE WITH ALL THE EXTRAS
Any additional comments?
I was provided this audiobook through Audiobook Boom at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review.
Wow. Pleasantly surprised. Kept my interest from the beginning, although initially, I had to concentrate a bit more, not having read any of this series. Oh, love Isaac's firm respect for and faith in Zoey. And love Zoey's true peaceful nature. The authors don't shy from the gore but, hey! battles are gruesome. Too bad the nooky play wasn't as carnal! If the blood is deeper, then let's get some hotter sex.
Voices were great. Nathan Squiers' female narration isn't all that great BUT his sexy deep voice makes up for it as the hero. Mmmmm.
If you can read the series from the beginning, it could help but I don't see that it's bottom-line, necessary.
Two Thumbs Up.

Vampire & werewolf action, murder, and suspense.
I have not read any of the other books in this series but I was able to follow along just fine. The story is fast paced and has quite a bit of action, bloody scenes, some humor, some detective work, and some twists.
Narration was good and brought the story to life.
This audiobook did have more gore and graphic scenes than what I’m used to but It kept my attention from beginning to conclusion. This is definitely an Adult book. I would not want my teens reading it.
The main characters are great. Zoey is surprisingly laid back and tries to avoid conflict. She is very strong and powerful but she comes across a bit insecure. The story is well written and moves along well with a fast pace.
