All the familiar characters that we first met in ‘Double Life Insurance’ and then ‘Bobbie and the Spanish Chap’ are there, but this adventure introduces Auntie Caroline, the enigmatic, resourceful, and dynamic journalist, who has work for Bobbie to do which just might stop a major fraud. Or (hold your breath), might not.

This fast-moving ‘unputdownable’ Bob Able story would make a great beach read. One early reviewer said it would make a great TV series … That is for others to judge, of course, but if you like this episode, look out for ‘Bobbie and the Wine Trouble’ which will follow hot on the heels of this book.

Bob’s lighthearted writing style combines gentle humour with fast moving, engaging and plausible plots. Bobbie Bassington, that adorable, infuriating, unpredictable and slightly wild auburn haired explosion is quite likely to start something. Read on to find out what she gets up to next.
