Standard Information of Healthy Lifestyle

Much of the information is familiar (eat whole foods, exercise 30 minutes daily, get plenty of sleep, and minimize exposure to chemicals through the use of body and hair products). A key point that the author makes repeatedly is to develop an awareness of your body. Instead of taking medication to treat the symptoms, address the stress factors in your life (yes, a toxic work environment could be giving you stomach problems), eat healthy, and get enough sleep to let your body recover.

It wasn’t bad, it had some helpful tips, but overall it wasn’t what I was looking for.

Must read!

This book is wonderful. Everyone should read it whether they are sick or not. The only bummer is that the diet is not vegan or vegetarian friendly. But even if you modify it to meet your needs the other parts are every bit as important as the diet!

Very informative.

After listening to this book, I'm thinking about buying it, so I can learn more to better my health and eating habits. I learned a lot about psychological behavior, how it effects the immunity system and how food can be beneficial to our health. I have already recommended this book to several people.

Not a fan

I wish the sample had mentioned that this book is not vegetarian / vegan friendly so I didn't waste my credit. There is some good advice in a couple of the chapters but not enough to make it worth paying for. Sorry, just not a fan.

Pseudoscience

Pseudoscience has no place in today’s world - TOM needs to be backed by vigorous scientific research - the author also isn’t current on dietary studies about the danger of eating animal products.
