Spicy And Sweet

Story was okay… but for me, towards the beginning stuff was becoming more and more predictable! There was a few surprising plot twists towards the end of the book that caught me off guard though… I guess that I did enjoy that about this book. Also, they needed some (at least 1) other voice actors… having 1 guy do all of these characters throughout the entire story was beginning to become a bit mentally taxing. I don’t know if they were having to operate within a certain (small) budget or what, but the lack of actors/diversified voices definitely took away from this story!

Ugh!

The first book had me on the edge of my seat, but this one it’s becoming TOO PREDICTABLE to the point it’s getting boring. Like EVERY man James come across end up gay, let’s be realistic here. The book isn’t realistic so I can’t even finish it. And as far as the narrator......smh too many pauses and flaws in his reading.

JUST AN OKAY READ

The narrator takes unnecessary pauses between words. That gets annoying. One also has to wonder why the Black's are so easily manipulated. It seems unreal at times.

So many secrets

For the wife to have had 3 kids by his lover, and he accepted them. Why did he feel the need to hide his son in order to break the news to her. She was cheating too!
