About this listen
Ariane Rose Jefferson
I never dated, always focused on school. I was a straight A student with a father as the town Chief of Police and mother was a stockbroker. I grew up quick as neither one had any real time to devote to me.
I was a loaner most of the time. I hated talking to people or hanging out. Until him, that is. Daemon Rayne. The most popular kid in school. We hit it off well and fell in love. Our parents hated us being together. His thought I wasn’t good enough and mine was because we were just teenagers.
He was my everything, just like I was his, and I knew that I would spend the rest of my life with him. It didn’t matter that we were only sixteen. We knew what we wanted in life.
Daemon Rayne
School life was great with my amazing friends. I was the most popular kid in school. I did my schoolwork and got good grades and things were going great until they weren’t.
When I met Ariane we instantly connected. I fell hard for her. We were like soul mates.
My parents hated us being together because they thought I was too good for her. But the real reason was, I was rich, and she was poor. My parents hated the fact they couldn’t control me, and I loved Ari.
We’d do anything to be together!

As a fairly new narrator, Aurora Jade did a great job with the male dialogue and I look forward to hearing more from her!

They characters felt real to me.
The narration was pretty good and she has a great female voice but the voices didn’t change much between characters making it difficult to tell who was talking. That being said it’s still a great story and I would definitely recommend this book.
