Great book on clearly describing low self esteem
This book was great in describing low self-esteem. Although I thought it was great in describing low self-esteem it was lacking in the solutions part how to actually make it grow. I guess that's in the workbook, that's unfortunately not available in audible.com

No correct chapter breaks
The content is excellent, and performance is fine, but there are only 4 "chapters" (the book has 10 chapters) and they don't line up with any true chapter beginnings or endings. I was using this in a group and couldn't participate until I got the Kindle version because I could never tell where the chapter began that we were on.

Inspired
I thoroughly enjoyed this book as it gave “real life” examples of either party that suffers LSE. After, any example of a person with LSE, the author breaks down the positive opposite.
You will feel “attacked” as this is an emotion of defense, nonetheless it is to identify the issues for healthier way of thinking.
Good book and must hear again.

Great audiobook
Effective exercises. The first step for me to overcome my depression; provided emotional interest and meaning for me, which I think is the first step. Second step is to work on negative thoughts (positive
self talk); i.e. slowly and steadily, but persistently, examining and talking back to those thoughts that tell you that you are rubbish, hopeless or a failure. Third step is to get a little help, guidance and support from either a friend, mentor, or mental health counselor. Supposedly, this plan should work because it's based on an article I believe in regarding depression, and I ran this article by one of my past therapists, and he commented that it was useful.

This book seemed to make me feel worse
All I keep hearing is examples of low self esteem, but almost nothing on how to actually overcome it. This effectively makes me just think of negative situations, and not positive solutions. One of the worst books in self development I’ve read

Dont buy this if you want to listen on an ipod
Dont download these books if you want to listen on an ipod. Due to "security" they can only be used on cd's or on the computer and will not be converted to mp3 for ipods. Dont waste your money.
