Krishna Dharma
In this canto, we first meet Prahlad, a prince in the race of Asuras, fierce enemies of the gods. An exalted saint, he excites the ire of his demonic father Hiranyakshipu by his devotion to Krishna. The demon tries in every way possible to kill his son until at last, he is confronted by Krishna’s half-man, half-lion incarnation, Nrshinghadeva. After this is a conversation between the celestial sage Narada and King Yudhisthira, in which Narada describes in detail the ancient Vedic system of organizing society known as varnashrama dharma.
A dramatic retelling that vividly brings the text to life and helps the listener go deeply into the transcendental mystery of the great Sanskrit classic, Srimad Bhagavatam.

At birth, Sage Narada blessed him with a saintly spirit, and Prahlad grows up wise, good, and a devotee of Vishnu and Krishna.
His wicked demon father, Hiranyakshipu, tries in so many ways to kill Prahlad but to no avail. Eventually, Hiranyakshipu crosses a line and is destroyed by Krishna’s half-man, half-lion incarnation, Nrshinghadeva.
As the story unfolds, Sage Narada and King Yudhisthira have a fascinating discourse in which Sage Narada describes the Vedic system that governs the order of social structures known as varnashrama dharma.
I would recommend rereading Chapter 10, which offers a very powerful message about how good action, prayer, and surrender can protect a family for generations.
Insightful series of 9 cantos.
