About this listen
Blackmail, Murder, Love, Hate.
There is nowhere left to hide when revenge comes calling.
One moment of madness in his youth has caught up with Matt Cunningham. The only person who can save the successful business executive is his alcoholic ex-lover Roni Paterson. But how do you find the woman who has disappeared for thirty years and what if she becomes part of the unfolding nightmare?
A dark thriller to keep you reading through the night.
Gripping story with true life characters and great humour. Could not put it down once I started.
I can't praise this book highly enough. This is the third book I have read from this author, each of them taking the reader on such an emotional journey every time.
The plot kept me guessing until the end and the characterisations were fantastic. Such a believable story and so well written. Five Stars.
A well planned balance of dark humour, suspence and thought provoking commentary. Highly recommended.
If 'Broken Leaves' was a play and we waited at the end to applaud the actors, the biggest cheer would be for the appearance of the Playwright.
