About this listen

Lillian Louis James built herself good life, but when a quick weekend visit with her daddy turns violent, she finds herself on the wrong side of the law. Stuck in the small town she would rather forget, Lillian is forced to attend therapy and try to figure out where it all went wrong. Her high school crush showing up on the scene doesn't help either, as unresolved feelings bubble to the surface. Will Lillian let Jesus heal her broken past before her chance at love is gone?

Do you know him that well?

I pulled my rig out of the New Albany, Ms Truckstop onto US 78 heading toward Birmingham. It was 2:30 am with a tangerine half moon overhead when I heard there had been a "stabbing". By chapter 3 I was full mouth open laughing till I could hardly hold onto the wheel.
Thru the night and into the early morning I drove, enchanted by the creative writing and amazing depth of Bev Kassis and her innate ability to drive the story to your depths.
How many nights do I remember "talking to him" in my own life? Only people with this experience could understand the true depths that this book goes to. If you don't understand, maybe you will when you finish!
Looking forward to the next of many by the author and reader!!

Very enjoyable!!

Love love love this story. It kept me very interested to want to listen more and more! I was so into this book I finished it within two days. I LOVED the narration. The narration is what kept me wanting to hear more and more. The narrator has such a enjoyable voice to listen to. She has such the southern drawl!! Give this lady a raise.
