About this listen
When I inherited a gorgeous old house in New Orleans, I expected renovation headaches—not a sexy French ghost named Drake possessing my body and a demon wielding an axe threatening to destroy the city.
Talk about being stuck between two worlds: one minute I'm arguing with Ryan Kelly, my irritatingly handsome contractor with those dimples I can't resist, and the next I'm traveling back to 1919 to stop a murderous demon from unleashing hell on Earth.
With Drake's memories flooding my mind and his charming accent echoing in my thoughts, I'm navigating a supernatural triangle more complicated than the French Quarter's twisted streets.
Add in voodoo priestesses, spirit guides, and cryptic messages from the other side, and my midlife adventure is anything but ordinary.
Time is quickly running out for me to master my newfound spiritual abilities and perform an exorcism a century in the making.
If I fail, New Orleans will run red with blood, starting with mine.
The clock is ticking, the Axeman is coming, and only I can stop him—with a little help from my ghostly French companion and a contractor who makes my heart race.
Welcome to my haunted life, where the spirits are restless, the danger is real, and falling in love is the most terrifying prospect of all.

Hate Virtual Voice Read Books!
I am sure this storyline is as good as the other 3 books before it that were narrated by Tiffany Morgan. This one, however, used virtual voice which provides one voice sound for all characters and is the same monotone throughout. I find my interest wanes quickly and start thinking of other things while the virtual voice drones on.
